2009 Spirit Awards

2009 está a chegar ao fim. E com esse fim, começam as entregas dos prémios para os melhores filmes estreados ao longo do ano, que culmina nos Óscares, a 29 de Fevereiro. Ainda ontem aqui mencionei duas associações que já pronunciaram os seus nomeados e vencedores e hoje ficamos a saber as nomeações para os Spirit Awards.

Pelo que parece, daqui podemos concluir algumas coisas: Vicky Cristina Barcelona, o novo filme de Woody Allen (com Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem e Scarlett Johanson) está no bom caminho e Rachel Getting Married, o novo drama independente de Jonathan Demme também já anda a arrecadar várias nomeações um pouco por todo o lado, especialmente para Anne Hathaway e a regressada Debra Winger (para quem não sabe, era a companheira de Richard Gere em Oficial e Cavalheiro). Outros filmes a receber algum reconhecimento são Frozen River e The Visitor. Como seria de esperar, Mickey Rourke e Sean Penn marcam presença na categoria de Melhor Actor. James Franco (Saga Homem-Aranha e Alta Pedrada, que infelizmente irá directamente para DVD) está nomeado para Melhor Actor Secundário com Milk. A estreia de Charlie Kauffman na realização (em que também assina o argumento, como seria de esperar), Synecdoche, New York, ficou de fora em todas as categorias, indo receber o Robert Altman Award, atribuído ao realizador, equipa de produção e ao elenco.
